With the American Idol field down to its final four contestants, Fox is bringing in a heavy hitter to help hone their material next week. Lady Gaga will mentor James Durbin, Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery as they take on some solid gold oldies next week.The contestants will all be choosing songs written by rock 'n' roll pioneers Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The duo wrote hits like "On Broadway," Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog," and "Stand By Me."
So how will the always eccentric Gaga deal with oldies radio staples like "Love Potion No. 9"? We'll have to wait and see, but we're guessing James is going to be the most stoked about this news.
